Srinagar, Oct 9: The Jammu and Kashmir under-22 cricket team on Wednesday left for Patiala to participate in the C K Naidu under-22 national cricket tournament.
The team comprises 16 members, coach Suresh and manager Hilal Ahmad Zargar. The team was selected after the selection trials held at SK cricket stadium here.
In the tournament, the JK team will play four matches. In there first encounter, the team will lock horns with Punjab at Patiala ground from October 12 to 15 while as in second game, they will clash with Haryana at Rohtak from October 24 to 27.
In the third match, the JK team will be against Delhi from November 1-4 while as in the last match they will clash with Himachal Pradesh at Shimla from November 7-10.
The tournament is organised by Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and is the north zone leg of the tournament.
