Hosts Jharkhand dominated 3rd days play of the Ranji trophy league match against Jammu and Kashmir at Keenan Stadium, Jamshedpur on Monday. 

Starting day on 17 for the loss of one wicket in reply to host's first inning total of 551 runs, JK team was bundled out for 309 runs and were forced to follow-on. In its second inning after following-on JK inning was in tatters again as they lost their two wickets for the score of only nine runs, still trailing by 233 runs.

It was evident from the start that the play on the track would be difficult on third and fourth day. However, JK inning would tumble like this was not expected. JK started the day badly with Ian Dev getting out at the score of 29. He was soon followed by Reshi, with JK reduced for 52 for the loss of three wickets. After that skipper Mithun Manhas joined by Parvez Rasool did little damage control taking JK score past 150 run mark. Parvez lost his wicket after scoring 55 runs. On the other hand Manhas continued his fight and tried his best to avoid follow. He could not help much as he lost his own wicket two runs short of a well deserved century. He was bowled by Kushal Singh for the score of 98 runs. JK innings ended om 309 runs. Manhas top scored with 98, Parvez with 55 and Ram Dayal with 34. For hosts, Shabaz Nadeem and Kushal Singh took four wickets each. JK fell short by 242 runs of hosts first inning total and were forced to follow-on.

JK got a terrible start to their second inning losing, two wickets without a run on the board. Night watchman Waseem Raza and Adil Reshi got out for naught. Both wickets were bagged by Jaskaran Ian dev came in the middle and scored nine runs of JK total. At the end of days play JK had scored nine for the loss of two wickets. Ian Dev was batting on nine while as Shubam Khajuria was yet to open his account after facing 12 deliveries.
