Akber Khan wins Srinagar Cyclothon

Muhammad Akber Khan of TCI Max on Sunday cruised to victory in the Srinagar Cyclothon which commenced from Nigeen Club and ended at SKICC, here.

Muhammad Akber Khan of TCI Max on Sunday cruised to victory in the Srinagar Cyclothon which commenced from Nigeen Club and ended at SKICC, here.

In the event around 400 cyclists's participated in different divisions. The event was flagged off from Nigeen Club and from the start Akber along with two other riders Waheed Ahmad and Mansoor Ahmad took the lead. 

The International cyclist finished first with the timing of 18:06, bagging a trophy and cash prize of Rs: 10,000. Waheed Ahmad and Mansoor who both platy for Celestial Buds School finished second and third respectively with the timings of 18:08 and 18:12 respectively. They bagged trophies and cash prize of Rs: 5,000 and 3,000 respectively.

Saleem finished fourth while as Adil Teli of Arco Cements finished fifth. Hilal Sofi of Government Physical education College, Ganderbal finished sixth, Rameez finished seventh, Parvaiz eight, Adil Ahmad ninth and Suhail Dar 10th.

In the girl's category, Rubab Ali emerged as winner while as Shahida Jabeen and Insha Wadoo finished 2nd and 3rd respectively.
