A young boy from Ganderbal district in central Kashmir, Ibrahim Aijaz Qureshi has emerged as the winner in the state-level badminton championship held in Jammu.

A young boy from Ganderbal district in central Kashmir, Ibrahim Aijaz Qureshi has emerged as the winner in the state-level badminton championship held in Jammu.

The state level badminton competition under Khelo India organised by Jammu and Kashmir Badminton Association in collaboration with J&K State Sports Council, concluded at Indoor Sports Complex, MA Stadium, Jammu on Saturday.

The new State winner of Under-14 Khelo India Badminton Championship Ibrahim Aijaz Qureshi won the title by showing his skills nicely in front of huge crowd in MA Stadium Jammu. Ibrahim won this title by defeating the top seed player and three times state champion Vidhan Gour.

In the closing ceremony, Chander Parkash Ganga, MLA and former Minister and also President J&K Badminton Association, was the chief guest who gave away prizes to the winner players.
