27th Senior National Wushu Championship: J&K finishes 3rd with 7 medals

J&K State Wushu team secured second runner-up place in the 27th Senior National Wushu Championship at Shillong from October 10 to 15. 

It is third time in a row that J&K secured 2nd runner-up place in the Senior National wushu championship. Services Selection Board and All India Police bagged winner and runner-up places respectively.

   

J&K Wushu team bagged two gold, three silver and two bronze medals in the championship. Moreover, 10 players have qualified for the National Games scheduled to be held in Goa -2019.

Surya Bhanu Pratap Singh and Rajinder Singh both secured gold medal in the championship, while as Haqeek Ahmed, Chander Dev Singh and Abhishek Singh Jamwal, all bagged silver medal in the championship.
