The 7-A-Side Women’s hockey tournament organized by Kashmir Hockey Academy (KHA) in collaboration with Directorate of Physical Education and Sports Kashmir University started at Kashmir University ground here on Thursday.
The event was inaugurated by Registrar, KU Prof. NissarAhmad Mir who was chief guest on the occasion wile as Principal Khalsa College,Amritsar Dr. Kawaljeet Singh, Chairman Sports Committee, KU Prof. BA Khan,Coordinator Sports, KU Dr. Nissar Ahmad Khan and Principal Physical Education,Ganderbal Dr. Hartej Singh were other guests present.
On this occasion all the 14 participating teams were presentout of which seven teams are from outside State.
