Stadium-XI emerged winner of the 7-A-Side North Zone Men’s hockey tournament-2019 defeating Birring Hockey Club Jalandhar in the final played at Amar Singh College ground here on Saturday.
In the match Stadium XI defeated Jalandhar side by 2-1 goalswith Ishfaq Ahmed adjudged as player of the match.
On the concluding of the event, match for the third placewas also held between Badal Sports Club Srinagar and Singhpura Hockey ClubBaramulla. Badal Sports Club won the match in penalty strokes by 5-4 goals.Rabinder Singh of Badal Sports Club was adjudged player of the match.
