Internationally renowned golf-course consultant David J. Brinkel – who is specialist in hands-on management and promotion of world-class playing surfaces – was on a two-day assessment visit to Kashmir Golf Course, which is being renovated by the J&K Bank under its CSR program.
David Brinkel was specifically invited by J&K Bank toassess the design and landscaping of the golf course and expressed satisfactionon the manner in which the bank has been able to accomplish this high-valueproject.
Rating it as AAA (Triple A), he lauded the efforts that havegone in to the designing and execution of the golf course.
While interacting with the chairman & CEO Parvez Ahmed,Brinkel reiterated that he was impressed by the way this golf course has beenprofessionally handled by the bank under his tutelage.
Parvez Ahmed informed Brinkel that bank has taken keeninterest in restoring the course to its pristine glory requested by the stategovernment to undertake restoration of this heritage golf course under its CSRprogram.
The chairman thanked David Brinkel for his assessment of thegolf course, a statement here said.
The Bank has handled the renovation of this golf course in ahighly professional manner, Brinkel said, adding that he was impressed with thematerials used while carrying out the restoration work besides handling ofdrainage issues with due care.
