Pakistan's fast bowling spearhead Mohammad Amir will not be flying to Dubai with the national squad for the forthcoming series against the West Indies as the pacer will be tying the knot on Sept 20.
The ceremonies prior to the wedding will start after Eid-ul-Azha, and the left-arm pacer in this regard is preparing to throw three events: on Sept 19, 20, and 21 while the national squad is scheduled to leave for the UAE tour on Sept 20.
Pakistan in the West Indies series will play three Twenty20s and as many ODIs and Tests, as the action starts with the opening T20 in Dubai on Sept 23.
The pacer is marrying British-Pakistani girl Narjis. In September 2014, the couple arranged a Nikah ceremony which was held in Lahore where only close relatives of the two families were invited.
Meanwhile, a Pakistan Cricket Board official said, "Amir is also likely to miss the first or second T20 as he will be busy in his wedding ceremonies."
