BCCI releases Rs 1.16 cr to JKCA for district tournaments

Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has released another Rs 1.16 crore to state cricket body for conducting district level events.

In its monthly release update on its website regarding payments made above 25 lakhs, BCCI mentions release of Rs 1.16 crore to JKCA as advance against amount due to Association-for conducting district tournaments across the J&K.

   

It is second big payment installment from BCCI to JKCA within two months as in March BCCI had released Rs 252,61,166 to JKCA as amount payable to selectors, players, vendors, hoteliers and others.

The JKCA is currently run by J&K High Court appointed two administrators and Chief Executive Officer (CEO).With the cash inflow the association has already started conducting tournaments in various districts of State.
