A ‘Run for Clean Environment’ was organised on Wednesday by Bilaliya Educational Institute (BEI) for its students from 3rd to 10th standard.
Chairman BEI Manzoor AhmadWangnoo said the run was aimed to create awareness among society and advancethe environment movement by promoting to work for safeguarding the environment.
Therun was flagged off at 6:30 am by chief guest GN Var, President, PSAJK whosaid organising such events will go a long way in inculcating strong values among students, and willhelp bring overall change in the society.
Manzoor Wangnoo thanked Varfor participating in the event. He also thanked DC Srinagar, Additional DCSrinagar, SSP Police, SSP Traffic and officials from Chief Medical officer’soffice, Srinagar for helping in making the run a successful event
