
Rajouri Kadal Heroes cricket club have emerged as winner of the Chandigarh Premier League after defeating Gulab Bagh Gladiators in the final played at Chandigarh on Thursday.
In the final, Rajouri Kadal Heroes opted to bat first. Atif Bisati gave them a quick start scoring 45 off mere 12 balls. Heroes managed to post a total of 167 runs for the loss of four wickets on board. Sajad Ganie scored 30 while as Haroon scored 20. For Gulab Bagh Gladiators, Irfan and Nayeem took one wicket each.
In reply Gulab Bagh Gladiators got all out for 140 run total thus handing Heroes a title win. Danish and Bilal with 40 each were highest scorers for Gulab Bagh. Muteeb took four wickets for Heroes while as Moomin took three. Haroon chipped with two wickets. For his quick knock Atif Bisati was awarded man of the match while as Sajad Ganiee was adjudged as player of the tournament
Earlier in the semifinal, Rajouri Kadal Heroes cricket club had defeated Chandigarh-XI. Batting first they scored 169 runs for the loss of six wickets in allotted 20 overs. Atif Bisati with 42 runs was highest scorer for them while as Shukran scored 42. Moomin scored 32
In reply Chandigarh got all out for 127. Irfan, Muteeb and Haroon took three wickets each for Heroes.
