Chennai City FC blame poor refereeing for defeat

Chennai City FC coach Akbar Nawas blamed poor refereeing for his side’s loss.

He said that All India Football Federation (AIFF) has to look into refereeing as they are not consistent enough to make their decisions.

“Everyone saw what happened in the middle, AIFF has to look into this. They should go sit and watch the video of the game. I don’t want to get in trouble by blaming referees but AIFF needs to improve refereeing in the league. I have said it before we are not looking for the title. We came here to play a quality and committed football but we can’t do that if refereeing is so poor,” Akbar said.

The coach also accused Real Kashmir of playing dangerous football.
