Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) organized a road race for boys of different age groups at Ganderbal on Tuesday.
The race started from new mini secretariat Ganderbal andconcluded at sports stadium Gadoora.
DC Ganderbal Hashmat Ali Khan along with the SSP of thedistrict flagged-off the event, in which around 500 students participated.
In the Under-18 age group category, Aijaz Ahmad Hajam ofBHSS Kangan finished first while as Shoib Mugal of BHSS Lar and Mudasir Ahmadof BHSS Wangath finished second and third respectively.
In the Under-17 category, Jahangeer Ajaz of HS Shallabugh, Shoaib Ahmad Mogray ofSheikh-ul-Kangan and Ajaz Ahmad Kasana of BHS Hayan finished first, second andthird respectively.
In the Under-14 category, Sahil Maqbool of HS Watlar, SameerFayaz of Qamaria MHSS Saloora and Javaid Ahmad Chauhan of HS Kachanambalfinished first, second and third respectively.
