J&K Sports Council litigation work allocated to Law officers

Jammu: Department of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs on Wednesday allocated the litigation work of the Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council, before the Jammu and Srinagar wing of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh to Deputy Advocate General and the government advocate respectively.

“In partial modification of government order No 393- JK (LD) of 2021 and order No 394- K(LD) of 2021 dated January 25, 2021, it is hereby ordered that the litigation work of the Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council, before Jammu wing and Srinagar wing of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh shall be dealt with K D S Kotwal, Deputy Advocate General and Sajad Ashraf, government advocate, respectively in addition to their own assignments,” said an order issued by Law Secretary Achal Sethi.

“This allocation is subject to the satisfactory performance of the Law officers which shall be reviewed periodically,” Sethi further ordered.
