J&K suffered its fifth defeat in the ongoing Under-23 Women’s One Day tournament as it was beaten by Chhattisgarh at SCA Stadium Khanderi B Ground, Rajkot on Thursday.
In the match Chhattisgarh defeated J&K by four wickets.
Batting first, J&K got all out for 123 runs in 48.4overs. Nadia Chowdhary with 34 not out was highest scorer for J&K while asIqraRasool scored 17 and IrfanaAhad scored 15. For Chhattisgarh, Manpreet Kaurand ShraddhaVaishnava took three wickets each.
In reply, Chhattisgarh achieved target for the loss of sixwickets in 38.1 overs. Manpreet Kaur with 50 was highest scorer for them whileas Shivani Krishna scored 21. For J&K, Bismah Hassan took three wicketswhile as SadiyaWani took two.
In the tournament J&K has played six matches out ofwhich they have suffered defeat in five while as emerged winner in one.
