Much awaited one-off exhibition match between star studded J&K-XI lead by star footballer Ishfaq Ahmad and the I–League (2nd Division) champions Real Kashmir FC has been postponed once again till further notice. The match which was originally scheduled to be played on 16th September was re-scheduled earlier to 20th September.
“Due to ongoing remembrance of Muharram, it has been decided to postpone the match once again. New date has not been finalized yet,” said an official of J&K Football Association – the organizers of the exhibition match.
Real Kashmir FC is the first-ever football team from J&K to win the I-League (2nd Division) and qualify for the premier league of the country, the I-League.
