JKPL Srinagar: City Star, RCC Khanyar win matches

On the second day of the J&K Premier League (JKPL) district Srinagar leg tournament conducted by J&K Cricket Association two matches were played at two venues of city on Thursday.

In the match played at Sheri-Kashmir Cricket Stadium, ground-B, City Star cricket club defeated Seven Star cricket club by big margin. Batting first City Star amassed a total of 266 runs for the loss of all wickets in 39.1 overs. Gulzar with 65 was highest scorer for them while as Mudasir scored 47. Bilal took three and Aquib took two wickets for Seven Star Club.

   

In reply Seven Star club were never in hunt as the while team bundled out for 170 runs. Saqib with 28 was highest scorer for them while as Shabir 3 took three wickets for City Star and Lateef two.

In the second match of the day played at, Islamia College Hawal, RCC Khanyar defeated Kashmir Harvard by eight wickets. Batting first Harvard were bundled out for 103 runs. In reply RCC achieved target in 19 overs for the loss of two wickets.
