The Directorate of Physical Education and Sports, University of Kashmir conducted cycle race for men on Wednesday.
According to a KU statement, around 60 boys participated inthe event and the race started from Gupkar road via Grand Lalit, SKICC, Nishatand culminated at RUMI gate of University of Kashmir.
Mansoor Ahmad (Department of Botany, University ofKashmir)24:27, SuhailNisar (Islamia College of Science and Commerce,Srinagar)25:39 and Abid Bashir (Department of Commerce, University of Kashmir)24:40secured first, second and third positions respectively.
The position winners were felicitated with medals during theprize distribution ceremony held at the Directorate. Consolation prizes werealso given upto 10 positions.
DrNisar Ahmad Mir, Registrar University of Kashmir was thechief guest while as Prof. RaiesQadri Dean Students Welfare KU was the guest ofhonour during the prize distribution ceremony.
