Srinagar: After a delay due to weather, J&K will be starting its campaign in men’s Under-25 State A Trophy cricket tournament at NFC Ground Hyderabad on Monday.
In its opening match of the tournament, J&K will take on Uttarakhand in an Elite Group-D match.
The team was scheduled to play its first match on Saturday , but owing to weather conditions , the schedule was changed.
The team includes some well known names, but everyone would be keeping an eye on the performance of former Mumbai Indians pacer Rasikh Salam who is making his comeback after serving two year ban for age fudging.
He was left out of the J & K senior team, but was included in the Under-25 side. If he performs well in the tournament, then he may get his place back in the senior side.
