Srinagar, Mar 17: Continuing its Public Outreach and youth engagement and encouragement, Awantipora Police under Civic Action Programme, organised one road race event in Aripal Tral in which youth of Sub-Division Tral participated.
The event was flagged off by SDPO Tral Mubashir Rasool. The race started from Handoora up to Aripal.
While interacting with the participants SDPO said that students and youth should make optimum use of sports and channel their energy in the right direction through sports activities. During the closing ceremony CO 42RR, DySP DAR, and SDPO Tral distributed cash prizes, certificates, and trophies among the winners of the event and participation certificates among all the participants. Tehsildar Aripal, BMO Aripal ZEO Lurgam, SHO Tral, Incharge Police Post Aripal and other Police Officers were present on the occasion.
