On the second day of the 73rd Santosh Trophy tournament (North Zone) two group matches were played at the Sports Complex SMVS Complex Katra, Jammu, on Tuesday.
The first match was played between Punjab and Haryana. In the match, Punjab defeated Haryana by three goals to one. For Punjab, Jaspreet Singh scored brace while as Paramjit Singh scored one. For Haryana, Parveen Dhull scored a lone consolation goal.
In the second game, Uttar Pradesh defeated Himachal Pradesh by one goal. Ankur Kumar Sharma was the scorer.
The tournament is organized by J&K Football Association in collaboration with All India Football Federation.
