Qamran Iqbal selected for India U-19 ‘A’ team

The young batting sensation of J&K, Qamran Iqbal, has once again found his name in the India Under-19 team as he has been selected for U-19 ‘A’ for the quadrangular series that starts from March.

BCCI on Wednesday announced the team for the upcoming quadrangular series that involves South Africa and Afghanistan as well.

   

Junior selection committee of BCCI announced three teams that included Under-19 team, Under-19 ‘A’ and ‘B’ teams. Under-19 team will take on South Africa in two four-day games while as ‘A’ and ‘B’ teams will be part of quadrangular series.

The India Under-19 ‘A’ team will be playing its first match against South Africa on March 5.

Since being selected for India U-19 team last year, Qamran Iqbal has made many strides in his career. He has been regularly picked up for the national side and also made impressive Ranji Trophy debut for J&K recently.
