Real Kashmir Football Club on Wednesday overcome Gokulam Kerala FC and snowy weather to go on top of the points table in the I-League match played at TRC Turf Ground here.

It was the 51st goal strike by Krezo that helped hosts Real Kashmir FC beat Gokulam Kerala FC on a day that can be described as difficult day for the game of football. It was complete hostile weather for the game with continuous snowfall and rain and both teams braved the conditions to put on a decent show in front of sizeable number of spectators that witnessed the match. As the match ended Real Kashmir that had qualified for the I-League after winning second division I-League continued its fairytale as they go on top of the table with 32 points from 16 matches. Chennai City is on second place with 30 points from 14 matches and they have a chance to reclaim their top spot soon.

Earlier Real Kashmir coach David Robertson, who has got his team combinations perfectly sorted out, used Krizo, who was coming back from suspension in place of Ritwik Kumar Das, who started in their last game. Gokulam coach, on the other hand, made as many as three changes to his starting eleven.

The first half did not produce many chances and no goals. It looked like that players are yet to get used to play on the wet field amid continuous snow and rainfall. Though Real Kashmir managed to get couple of decent chances but they were not able to convert any of them into goal. At half time score was 0-0.

Gokulam Kerala went with changes at the start of the second. It was desperate move to get results but the goal came from other side.
