The selection trials for selecting J&K team for the Santosh Trophy for National Football Championship-2019 are going on at GGM Science College Jammu.
In the trials, 52 shortlisted footballers from Kashmir province and 28 footballers from Jammu province are participating. The trials are being conducted by J&K Football Association and J&K team would be selected by four selectors – Abdul Majeed Kakroo, Charan Das , Satpal Singh and Intikhab Aalam. The list of 24 players would be announced within next two or three days and then the selected players will undergo 10-day coaching camp at Jammu. After that, the camp would be moved to Karta were JKFA is this year hosting North Zone leg of the Santosh Trophy from February 11 to 16.
