Arif Laigaroo and Mushtaq Bashir on behalf of Snowshoe Federation of India (SSFI) felicitated the Mayor of Fondo region in Trento (Italy) Daniele Graziadei and Agriculture & Forest Minister of the Trento region, Giulia Zanotelli, during the prize distribution ceremony of World SnowShoe Championship-2019 at Fondo, Trento-Italy Saturday evening.
Laigaroo and Bashir presented a Kashmiri Pheran and Shawl to the two dignitaries in front of big audience and athletes from 29 countries.
Later the four member team of SSFI discussed various issues related to cultural, sports and tourism exchange between the two regions.
“We discussed the ways to improve the tourism, sports and cultural exchanges between two regions. They were delighted to know about Kashmir. We invited them to visit Kashmir,” Laigaroo added.
