Students of Foundation World School and its After School Academy participated in the skiing course conducted by Indian institute of Skiing and Mountaineering.
In the course 11 students aged 7 to 11 years, from the school and the after school academy took part in a basic level skiing course.
The course was concluded with n award ceremony in which Founder Member of The Foundation Trust AS Lone , CEO Gulmarg Development Authority Hanief Balkhi and Principal IISM Gulmarg Colonel JS Dhillon gave away the awards.
One of the foundation world school academy students, Mohammad Sajid-ul-Haq, bagged the first position in Technique. In addition, consolation prizes for the youngest and most disciplined participants were awarded to Ahmed Qazi, Ahmed Ibrahim, Ayaan Hussain, Fahad Saadain and Mohammed Haffi.
This initiative was taken in accordance with the Foundation philosophy of holistic education giving equal weightage to developing different aspects of body, mind and soul.
