Himachal Pradesh bundled out JK for 200 runs in first inning and then scored 99 for the loss of two wickets on the opening day of Under-19 Cooch Behar Trophy match at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Cricket Stadium, Amtar on Monday.
Batting first, J&K batting failed to put any resistance and got all out for 200 runs in 59.3 overs. Vivrant with 55, Sahil Lotra with 41 Yudhvir Singh with 44 and Tahsin Darwith 22 were highest scorers for the JK team. For Himachal, Jayshodhan V Thakur took five wicket haul.
In reply, Himachal were going strong when days play was called off. Himachal scored 99 for the loss of two wickets. Moomin Mansoor gave J&K good start by getting wicket of opener Mukul L Negi with Himachal score of four runs while as Yudhvir got wicket of AA Walia with score on 20. Then DB Rangi who scored unbeaten 45 and MZ Khan batting on 39 made sure that Himachal didn't loss any further wickets during days play.
