U-19 Cooch Behar Trophy | Day 1: J&K all out for 205

Srinagar: J&K were bundled out for 205 run total against Pondicherry in the first inning on the first day of the Under-19 Cooch Behar Trophy tournament at Kandukuri Cricket Academy, Vizag on Monday.

After winning the toss, J&K chose to bat first. The J&K top order completely collapsed with six wickets down on the score of 87 runs. The wicketkeeper batsman, Shivansh Sharma played a lonely fighting knock to take J&K score over 200 run mark.

   

He got run out after scoring 110 run knock. Yuvraj Saini with 21 and Ranjot Singh with 19 were the next best scorers in the J&K inning.

The whole J&K batting lineup bundled out for 205 runs in 52 overs. Jyothi Swaroop and S Sacheitan took three wickets each for Pondicherry.

In reply , Pondicherry were 93 for the loss of one wicket at the end of first day’s play. They were trailing J&K by 112 in the first inning. Negan Kangayan was batting on 61 while Karthiraja on three.

The only wicket to fall in Pondicherry inning was that of Shashank who scored 23. Ranjot Singh took the only wicket of the day for J&K.
