U-19 COOCH BEHAR TROPHY | Day 2: Pondicherry lead by 115 runs

Srinagar: Pondicherry gained first inning lead of 115 runs in first inning with three wickets in hand against J&K on the second day of the Under-19 Cooch Behar Trophy match at Kandukuri Cricket Academy, Vizag on Tuesday.

Resuming second days play from overnight score of 93 for the loss of one wicket, Pondicherry ended day on 320 for the loss of seven wickets. They have already gained first inning lead of 115 runs with three wickets in hand. Neyan Kangayan scored 180 run knock while as Nitin Pranaav scored 84 for them. For J&K, Ranjot Singh and skipper Muhammad Manzir took three wickets each.

Earlier J&K in its first inning were bundled out for 205 runs. Shivansh Sharma played lonely fighting knock 110 runs . Yuvraj Saini with 21 and Ranjot Singh with 19 were next best scorers in J&K inning. Jyothi Swaroop and S Sacheitan took three wickets each for Pondicherry.
