J&K Women’s Under-19 team suffered its third straight defeat in the ongoing Women’s cricket Under-19 one day league as they were beaten by Tripura at Margao Cricket Club, Margao, Goa on Friday.
In the match J&K got all out for 61 run total suffering 190 run defeat while chasing a target of 251.
Batting first Tripura posted 251 runs for the loss of six wickets in their allotted 50 overs. Ambika Debnath with 84 runs was highest scorer for them while as Puja Paul scored 44. For J&K Arti took two wicket while as Sadiya and Ronaq took one each. In reply J&K got all out for 61 run total. Lalita with 12 runs was highest scorer for J&K while as Iqra Rasool scored seven. In J&K inning there were 21 extras. For Tripura, Hiramani Guar and Puja Das took three wicket each.
It was another batting failure for J&K in the tournament. In the earlier two matches, J&K had got all out for the scores of 28 and 21 respectively.
