Ghani Gliders Sports Club has lashed out at dismal performance of J&K senior cricket team in ongoing Vijay Hazare trophy.
As per club statement, Ghani Gliders Sports Club (GGSC) held its meeting on Monday in which its members showed serious concern over the dismal performance of J&K team in Vijay Hazare trophy tournament.
“This is the worst performance by J&K team as they have lost all the three matches by posting low scores. Although, winning and losing is part of the game but the performance of J&K team has degraded the name of JKCA,” club statement said.
“The club members suggested that Irfan Pathan should be immediately dropped from the team and also some non-performing players must be immediately dropped from the team. Jammu and Kashmir State has a great talent in cricket but they don’t get chance to play. Therefore, it is humble request to the CEO JKCA to immediately make drastic changes in the team so that the image of JKCA is saved. There should be no place for outside cricketers in playing eleven,” club statement further said.
Director Ghani Gliders, Tariq Ghani assured the members of the club that their demand will be fulfilled without any delay, statement added.
