The Higher Education Department on Tuesday started a two-day training program through webinar for all Principals and officials of various degree Colleges of Kashmir.
A statement said the program was organised in order to institutionalize procurement and purchase through Government Electronic Market (GeM).
Convener Digital Initiative Committee, Prof Sheikh Ajaz Bashir, who is also Principal Islamia College of Science and Commerce, presented the welcome address on the occasion. Commissioner Secretary Higher Education, Talat Parvez; Director Colleges, Prof MY Peerzada; nodal Principal, Prof Yasmeen Ashai and Principals of different Colleges and faculty attended the webinar.
