The other day I watched the ad of Libra English academy. It goes like this;
 A young girl on the screen, "I am one among you; yet I am not like you. I have one thing that makes me outstanding and that one thing is Libra English academy."
 Looking around in the city, there are scores of these English academies that claim they can create outstanding individuals out of the ordinary Kashmiris.
 The question is where did this desire for Angraizi pop up from all of a sudden? Well if you feel these academies might have the answer you are wrong because the answer lies in the past.
 Earlier when there was the boom of play-stations it was the desire for technology. People sold their shops, in fact even the established ones, and started play-stations at their place.
 Some time later the desire was for communication so the people who had converted their shops into play- stations reconverted them into STD and PCO shops then.
 Yet the time changed again and STD boom was replaced by TATA Sumos'. People now sold their STD shops and bought TATA Sumos instead. Such goes the tail of every trade in Kashmir.
 This has been happening time and again when the people gave away their business to start a new one, which they feel is trendy. But in the process they turned up spoiling the new business too.
 This time it's not about trade. It's about the carrier of the students. Business can be rebuilt, money can be earned again but if we make use of these young people, prospects of their carrier might get spoiled forever!
