All Jammu and Kashmir Daily Wagers Forum on Saturday said that it will hold a sit-in  at Lal Chowk on May 13 to press for regularization of their services.

Addressing a press conference here, Forum's chairman Sajad Ahmad Parray said "we have been fighting for regularization of our services from several decades. Every regime assured us justice but later ignored our plight," said Parray.

"During the National Conference-Congress regime, the PDP issued statements condemning use of force and pellet guns against peaceful protests of daily wagers. This time PDP forgot to condemn the police for using teargas and pellet guns against us when we were held peaceful protests two days ago," he said

He said that the government had announced to set up high power committee to look into demands and recommend ways to redress them. "More than two days, have passed and no such committee exits till date," he added.
