With an aim to impart quality care and early childhood experiences, Toddler World, a preparatory has come up at Humhama near Railway Bridge on city outskirts there. 

The crèche is the outcome of the joint efforts of a family who want to create "a safe, nurturing and developmentally appropriate facility" which will encourage curiosity of learning.

"Our idea to establish this crèche is to instill confidence in children and to teach them to treat each other with positivity and respect," said Director Toddler World, Ruqaiya Waffai, who has done here software engineering.

She said the children enrolled in the school will be provided with the best early childhood education by encouraging spiritual, physical, intellectual and social development and inspire young minds for lifetime of learning. 

"The crèche will have a family like environment- where parents, staff and children will work together towards a common goal. The crèche has a specially designed set-up for an advanced development of the child besides a highly qualified and caring staff who will be provided continuous professional development through training programs," she said. 

She said the team at Toddler World is committed to continuous development and on-going improvement. "Our experienced, fun-loving educators are experts in making the learning process exciting and interactive for the children," Ruqaiya said.

The idea to establish the crèche dates back to three years when one of the family members went to seek admission in a local crèche. "But I was not satisfied with the facilities available in any of the preparatory school. I had to compromise and admitted my ward in a local crèche," said Owais Shah, who has spent past 15 years in London. "In London, I got influenced with the crèche there and I shared my idea with my family. We started our mission to turn our dream into a reality," Shah said.

The crèche will have a 1:7 teacher students ratio kids between the age group of 18 months to 3 years will be enrolled there.

The crèche has tried its best to provide hygienic faculties for the students besides installing toughened glasses which minimizes every chance injury. "The school is fully equipped with CCTV system and we have also a tracking system for our vehicles which will be controlled from office. This all is aimed at to safeguard the kids enrolled here," Shah added.
