The function was presided over by Dr.Tahira Shafi, Senior Nutritionist and President IDA, J&K chapter. In her address, she highlighted the objective of National Dietetics day and role of safe foods in human development.
On the occasion, Nasreen Paul, HOD, Dietetics and Therapeutics Department SKIMS spoke on objectives of the day.
Member IDA J&K Chapter and media spokesperson, Quratul-Aan, gave a presentation on the topic 'Impact of Food Borne Diseases on health and nutritional status.'
Among others who spoke on the occasion included Samir Ahmad Dar, Romana Matto, Khushnuma Wani, Erteeqa Nissar, Kounsar Parveen ,Shahana, Hinna and Nousheen Fazili.
