A series of free workshops on the art of competitive examinations for the students appearing in upcoming JEE-NEET examinations, concluded at Amar Singh College here today.
Around 300 students were covered in different sessions and imparted guidelines and preparation tips for their entrance examinations by many IITians, NITians, medicos including Er. Ehtisham Qalander, Er.Peer Moomin Shakoor, Er Anzar Drabu and Dr Irtifa Nazir Kanth.
"The focus of the workshops was on application of the known concepts by the students, their accuracy of attempts in the paper and management of time. The students were also enlightened on the expected questions analysed on the bases of data collected from previous years," the organizers said in a statement.
The workshops were organized by Ehtisham Qalander, B.Tech IIT Roorkee and Anzar Draboo. The sessions were presided over by Dr Syed Ishfaq Manzoor, Prof. Rashid Ashraf and Dr Syed Mutahar Aaquib of the department of Computer Sciences AS college.
Burhan Kanth (KPS) delivered the inaugural lecture emphasizing on the need of hard work and smart work to success.
Following the successful conduct of these workshops, the organizers have decided to enroll limited students for a "quick revision classes cum test series" to guide them in maximizing their mileage and ability to score marks. These students would also be given a subsequent revision study with the help of problem-solving exercises in a smarter way.
