5-day medical books fair starts at SKIMS

A five day book fair commenced today at Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) where medical literature by renowned authors will be showcased.

SKIMS library started the book fair in SKIMS auditorium hall today. The book fair, SKIMS administration said, has been organised in order to give a boost to reading culture and to give an exposure to students of the deemed university.

   

The event will continue upto 28 September. The book fair showcases the exhibition of international medical books mostly for higher specialities.

Speaking about the event, Prof Omar Javed Shah, director SKIMS said, “Book fairs play a great role in encouraging the reading habit among people of all age groups.”
