Ahmad and Haris Charitable Trust dedicates critical care ambulance to people

Srinagar, Nov 26: Ahmad and Haris Charitable Trust on Friday dedicated a critical care ambulance to people during an event here.

The ambulance was flagged off by Director Health Kashmir Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Rather in presence of MY Khan, Trustee of the Trust.

   

Ahmad and Haris Charitable Trust, having its headquarters at Seer Hamdan in Anantnag, was established in 2011.

“Efficiency and fast-paced delivery of this ambulance service is one of the prompt response in emergency healthcare which people must avail,” MY Khan said on the occasion.

“When patients are in need of immediate medical treatment or emergencies like accidents, people just need to dial our numbers and they will get immediate transportation to hospital and medical treatment on way,” Khan said.

He added that the ambulance is equipped with modern equipments including Endoscope, ECG, Ultrasound, and other life-saving support systems.

“This ambulance is equipped with all necessary men and machinery that a patient requires during golden hours while being shifted to hospital,” he said.

He added that people in need of this service can call 6005226625, 7006345134, 7780870744, and 7006853037.

“They will be charged just Rs 30 for each kilometer. This is the minimal charge for basic requirements of fuel and maintenance,” he said.

The ambulance will remain stationed at Mubarak Hospital Hyderpora Srinagar. Khan said the medical staff, which will remain available round the clock, is being provided by this hospital.

Khan informed that the Trust has been serving the people in Kashmir in different forms for past over 10 years now.

“The Trust has been conducting medical camps wherein people have been provided free medical consultations and medicines,” he said.

He added that the Trust is also sponsoring higher education of students each year, imparting skills in crafts and offering free tuitions to the students.
