Army on Saturday evening detained three youth at Narbal on city outskirts
Police said the trio was travelling in a vehicle when Armystopped it at Narbal and arrested them.
“2 RR of Army acting on a tip off apprehended threepersons during checking at Narbal crossing. The youth were traveling in an altocar bearing registration number JK13C-4328. The trio hailed from southKashmir’s Pulwama district,” they said.
“The arrested youth were identified as Shahid AhmadBhat, Ishfaq Ahmad Lone both residents of Lelhar, Pulwama while third one wasidentified as Rayees Hurra of Gulbagh,” an Army official said.
Defence spokesman Colonel Rajesh Kalia said “acting onan input, the three youth travelling in a vehicle were stopped and asked a fewquestions. They were later handed over to police station Parimpora.”
A police officer confirmed that the trio was apprehended bythe army and later handed over to police station Parimpora “FIR was alsolodged in police station Parimpora and investigations started,” theofficer said.
