Army today organised veterans day at Badami Bagh Cantonment here.
In a statement, Defence spokesperson said a number of ex-servicemen residing in the Valley participated in the event. “Various facilities were provided for the veterans like free medical and dental checkup, ZSWO, DPDO and Canteen. An interaction with the veterans was also held wherein they were complimented and thanked for their service to the Nation,” it said.
