Secretary Youth Services and Sports department, Sarmad Hafeez and commissioner secretary Floriculture, Gardens & Parks department Sheikh Fayaz Monday chaired a joint meeting here to review preparations for opening of offices at civil secretariat here on May 04.
The meeting was attended by executive engineer secretariat,CMO Srinagar, health officer SMC, and other officials.
Hafeez, who is also in charge estates department, visitedvarious sections of the secretariat and expressed his satisfaction over thearrangements. He reviewed the facilities at the health dispensary and directedfor ensuring availability of medical officer and keeping ample stock ofmedicines in the dispensary.
The meeting discussed other arrangements that have been putin place for the move employees. Hafeez stressed on the officials to fine tuneall the arrangements and ensure hassle free opening of the offices in Srinagar.
He urged the officers to ensure that employees do not faceany inconvenience and were extended all basic facilities during the transitionperiod.
He directed for undertaking all measures necessary formaintaining cleanliness in and around the civil secretariat in the wake ofCOVID19 threat. He asked the officers to explore the possibility of installingdecontamination and sanitation tunnels, besides undertaking fumigation wherevernecessary.
Hafeez said a proper system through Do’s and Dont’s shall bein vogue to ensure safety of all the employees and visitors. The officialsinformed the meeting about various arrangements put in place to ensurehassle-free movement of employees and start of work in civil secretariat.
