On the occasion of World Mental Health Day today, principal secretary health and medical education, Atal Dulloo and Principal Government Medical College (Srinagar) Prof Saima Rashid inspected Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (IMHANS) and its community general Hospital unit at SMHS Hospital and interacted with patients.
On the occasion, a musical event was organised at IMHANS where noted singers Waheed Jeelani and Raja Bilal enthralled the patients with their performance.
“Music has a therapeutic value in treatment of mental order disorders,” said statement by the hospital adding the singers offered to hold such programs in future as well.
