Various separatist leaders have expressed grief over the demise of mother of Mahaz-e-Azadi (MeA) patron Muhammad Azam Inqillabi today and conveyed solidarity with the bereaved family.
Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik, while mourning the demise, described the deceased as pious and virtuous woman.
"Yasin Sahib along with JKLF vice chairman Advocate Bashir Ahmad Bhat, zonal president Noor Muhammad Kalwal, Muhammad Hussain Altaf, Muhammad Yasin Bhat, Sheikh Abdul Rashid participated in her funeral prayers," a JKLF spokesman said in a statement.
Hurriyat Conference (M) chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq also expressed grief over the demise of Inqillabi's mother. "Mirwaiz led her Nimaz-e-Jinazah (funeral prayers), which was attended by senior Hurriyat (M) leaders including Advocate Shahid-ul-Islam, Javaid Ahmad Mir, Engineer Hilal Ahmad War, Moulana M S Rehman Shams besides others," a Hurriyat (M) spokesman said.
The Chairman of National Front Nayeem Ahmed Khan condoled the sad demise and expressed solidarity with the veteran separatist leader.
Meanwhile, Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) chairman Shabir Ahmad Shah, while expressing grief over the demise, said, "We're extremely grieved over the demise of a great lady whose sacrifices and contribution to movement is noteworthy."
"A party delegation, led by DFP secretary general Moulana Abdullah Tari, participated in Namaz-e-Janazah of the deceased," a DFP spokesman said. GKNN
