Srinagar, Aug 18: The body of 27-year-old Imtiyaz Ahmad who had reportedly jumped into Dal Lake last evening was retrieved today, officials said.
A senior police official said that they received information that a person had jumped into the lake near Ghat number 1.
He said a rescue operation was launched to trace the person. After hectic efforts, the body of Imtiyaz Ahmad, a resident of Soura, was fished out today.
