A boy was feared dead after he slipped into Brari Nambal lagoon here on Friday evening.
Police said Suhail Ahmad Khaja son of Gafoor Khaja of IbkotTangmarg presently residing at Malik Aagan Fatah Kadal slipped into BrariNambal. Though locals said they made efforts to rescue him but couldn’t.
“We have pressed men and machinery to locate theboy,” SHO Maharaj Gunj Ayaz Geelani told Greater Kashmir.
He added that operation will resume on Saturday morning.
