Childline unites missing boy with family

A voluntary group for children on Saturday said it handed over a boy, who had gone missing and was traced by police, to his family.

In a statement, spokesperson of the missing boy identified as Master Ghulam Nabi resident of Purnia Bihar was found by GRP, police station Nowgam two months ago. 

"GRP Nowgam handover the child to Bal Ashram, Ishbar Nishat through CHILDLINE. After two months, the child was produced before Juvenile welfare Board, wherein chairman (District Development commissioner) has issued orders for his permanent restoration. 

"It took us 20 days for verification of his antecedents and finally we handed him over to his family," said Project Coordinator of the group.
