City gets its first Barista outlet

There is good news for coffee and food lovers as the first Barista outlet in the summer capital was inaugurated at Raj Bagh here on Monday.

There is good news for coffee and food lovers as the first Barista outlet in the summer capital was inaugurated at Raj Bagh here on Monday. 

The Barista outlet offers mouthwatering beverages from 'Hot Classics' such as Capucinno to Café Latte apart from Cold Coffees, Iced Teas and Smoothies. The outlet was inaugurated by Editor-in-Chief Greater Kashmir, Fayaz Ahmad Kaloo. 

Sajid Farooq Shah, franchise of the Barista outlet, said it is aimed to cater to different tastes with best possible service. "There is a customised tailor-made menu at this Barista as we are for the first time offering different types of Kebabs such as seekh kebabs and shaami kebabs to suit the local taste. We would open more outlets soon " said Shah. 

Launched in presence of civil society members and other dignitaries, this Barista offers delicacies such as "Indulgent Coffees" which includes 'Barista Blast' and 'Tropical Nut' to Lemonades that include Mango, Green Apple and Watermelon Lemonades which are a "flavor of the season" in the present scorching summer heat. 

Among other Barista specials to look forward at this outlet includes Mojitos, Non-Coffee products such as Assam Tea, Masala Tea. Food lovers can also try the add-ons such as Chocolate Fudge, Espresso Shot and Whipped cream. The 26-seater Barista is owned by a prominent business family, from the Downtown, which also runs the Comrade-Inn hotel. 

The Barista Coffee chain of espresso bars delivers a truly Italian coffee experience in warm, friendly and relaxed environment. According to the company website, at last count, the Barista Coffee Company Limited had over 200 Barista Coffee Espresso Bars and Barista Coffee Crèmes in over 30 cities across India.
