To coordinate activities of various NGOs working across Kashmir in COVID19 management programme, the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir has designated Deputy Commissioner, Commercial Taxes department, Srinagar, Ghulam Jeelani Zargar, as divisional nodal officer.
The officer will be assisted by sub registrar (east),Srinagar, Javeed Ahmad Masoodi, presently working in Deputy Commissioner,Srinagar’s office, Syed Eyaad Qadri and Zahid Rashid.
The decision is part of the guidelines that DivisionalCommissioner set for the NGOs involved in the management programme relatedactivities to ensure strict adherence to the social distancing protocol andother related health advisories.
The NGOs have been asked to intimate the district magistrateabout details of volunteers, stock and area of operation and seek approvalbefore embarking on any relief operation.
